Introduction and background
With a little bit of swag and the hint of humour in her smile, Gillian Armstrong is an unapologetically electric professional performance figure skater that we had the honor of collaborating in months closing in 2024. During an outreach program we launched in late November through Instagram, we stumbled across her profile and messaged her for a potential collaboration – The outreach program enables us to find gifted individulas that are seldom seen and celebrated, to which we provide free professional coverage to elevate their individuality. As a brand that represents endurance, longevity and growth, Gillian is an embodiment of the perseverance, atheleticism and grace. Unlike other disciplines that commonly centred around a team or against an individual (football, tennis, volleyball), Classic Ice skating requires you to compete, train and perform to perfection. Through this lens, we have attemped to capture these raw movements, a culmination of all the years of training up until that day.
Athelete Background
Gillians story as an Ice skater, begins at 9 years old as a young skater in Mannheim, a small city in Germany. Born in 2002 is now a full fledged professional ice skater performing for shows such as “rock on ice” and disney on ice”.
